Konami’s controversially short stealth prequel, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, has now received a price slash on the European PSN the day of the UK release date.
Marked down from £29.99 to £24.99, that £5 difference may be enough to sway some of those who see the title as a glorified demo, especially with the retail copy sitting around £30. This discount is only available through PSN however, so if you aren’t wanting to play it on a PS4 you are out of luck. This deal does not carry over to the PS3.
£24.99 for a handful of hours of gameplay still seems steep, but given the quality of Hideo Kojima’s work in the past, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes may be a price worth paying if you prefer quality over quantity.
