Signal Studios, the team behind tower defence series Toy Soldiers, have announced a new iteration of miniature history warfare for PS4 and Xbox One.

Having recently acquired the license from Microsoft, the previously exclusive series will be able to go multiplatform. Talking to Polygon, Community Manager Becky Taylor announced that the next Toy Soldiers title is in development. When pressed, Taylor stated that they are partnered with a “rather large publisher” for the title.

Before then Signal are releasing Toy Soldiers Complete; a bundle which will include Toy Soldiers, Toy Soldiers: Cold War and all four DLC packs. While the original title did get a PC release in 2012, Cold War was ever released on any platform apart from the Xbox 360.

Expect to hear more about both Toy Soldiers Complete and the new title in the coming months.
