Originally released in 2011, Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams is the third entry in the series that has been around since the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System. Although they had a bit of a rocky start, Twisted Dreams has gone from strength to strength, featured in many list of favourite games developed using the Unity engine.

Their success was certified earlier this week, when the developers confirmed that Twisted Dreams has been bought by one million individual users. At this time, it is unknown how many copies have been bought of “Rise of the Owlverlord”, the game’s downloadable content, but even without the optional extra. there is little doubt that the sisters have become a respectable success, thanks to platforming fans all over the globe.
