Worms developer and publisher Team17 have announced at the Playstation Open Day a new IP called Flockers, reports Develop-Online.

Team17 are expected to fully announce the game with more details, probably screenshots and possibly a trailer next week.

Debbie Bestwick, Team17’s Managing Director, revealed the new IP while also saying that it is “the most important game we’ve worked on in over a decade”.

With a title like Flockers, you would expect it to have something to do with sheep. Sheep show up in Team17’s Worms games frequently, so the game will obviously have a sheep theme. Also of note is the steam-punky logo, which could suggest a setting for the game.

More details, such as platforms, are scarce at the moment, but it looks like  more will be available next week.
