Earlier today Nintendo tweeted news from their Direct livestream event that they will start releasing Game Boy Advance games for the Wii U via its Virtual Console.
Set for release in April, the first 3 games to be announced are the classics Metroid Fusion, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, and Yoshi’s Island Super Mario Advance 3. According to Nintendo, we can expect to see some new GBA additions to the Virtual Console every month thereafter.
Although Metroid Fusion and Yoshi’s Island Super Mario Advance 3 are already available on the 3DS Ambassador Scheme, this will give Nintendo fans not on the scheme a chance to revisit some their greatest handheld games.
