Analyst David Gibson has reported that Konami is planning to release 14 new console titles by 2015, with the company “budgeted to release seven new titles” in 2014 and “the same number released in FY3/2015.”
According to the financial report, sales of computer and video game titles have “remained steady” for the company. Konami has seen a growth in content for social networks, attributing to the growth of the “development of native applications for smart devices,” however, the revenues for Konami’s digital entertainment were down 11.1% from last year.
Konami shall “continue to strive towards producing hit titles by leveraging existing content” with the release of Metal Gear Sold V: Ground Zeros and Castelvania: Lords of Shadow 2.
