Free-To-Play Panzer shooter, World of Tanks, will be officially be released onto Xbox Live February 12.
Wargaming made World of Tanks on Xbox Live available to Gold subscribers only, so free-to-play isn’t exactly the right term. However, the initial download of the game includes a seven day free trial. This is more than long enough to reach a reasonable enough rank to find out whether you enjoy blowing up, and in tern being blown up by, other tanks.
World of Tanks was originally released onto PC in 2010. Plans to expand it include World of Warplanes, which is currently in beta, as well as World of Warships, which is still in early alpha. Eventually all three will be joined together to create large-scale battles across land, sea and air.
