Sony have posted a new trailer on the Playstation Blog, detailing the Thief series reboot. Giving a brief overview of the core mechanics and concepts, Thief 101: Everything You Need To Know is well trodden ground for anyone who has kept an eye on the games development.

The trailer is in celebration of the game going gold, meaning that until any possible DLC and patches, development is over.

What sets Thief apart is that it practically invented first-person stealth back in 1998. Eidos-Montreal hopes to follow this legacy, which will be difficult after Dishonored’s release two years ago. The studio also have their own standards to exceed, after 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Thief comes out on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC February 28. Until then, why not check out my hopes for the Thief reboot.
