The Elder Scrolls Online can be played without a PS Plus subscription, according to the game’s director Matt Firor.
Firor posted on the PlayStation Blog explaining that users will only have to pay the same monthly subscription fee that PC and Mac users will pay, with no other fees on top.
It’s also been confirmed that PS4 players will be on either European or North American servers which will be separate to servers used for PC players. There will also be a beta coming to the console, but more details will be released closer to the time.
Currently there is no news on whether Xbox One users will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to play The Elder Scrolls Online, in addition to the games’ monthly subscription fee.
The Elder Scrolls Online will launch later this year.
