Killzone: Shadow Fall to get clan support

Guerrilla Games’ Killzone: Shadow Fall will receive clan support in stages starting from next month, according to a post today on the official website.

Killzone community editor Victor Zuylen told that clan were “the most requested feature on the Killzone Player Voice feedback system,” and will arrive via a patch.

“The first phase will arrive with patch 1.09, which is currently slated for an early February release,” Zuylen wrote. “This phase introduces clan system features to both the game and the website. The patch will add support for displaying clan tags alongside player names in the game, while the website will receive basic clan management functionality — including the ability to create clans, add/remove members and promote members to clan officers.”

The series of free patches will add more options based partly on player feedback. According to Zuylen the multiplayer will also expand to include free map content and “the soon-to-be-announced first DLC expansion pack.”
