Classic styled role playing games have been taking a holiday in the last few years. replaced with action orientated equivalents, or entirely new takes on the genre. This is about to change, with the latest product from Ultimate Fantasy Studio that has appeared on Kickstarter named The Meridian Shard.

The game follows the traditions of the genre, with the story line being drawn from an existing novel known as Ultimate Fantasy – The Queen’s Realm that was written by Justin Cuff, the developer of the game.
