The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One now both available for pre-order in India with the Xbox One costing up to Rs 55,000 before the gamer can even hold the device. According to Snapdeal, India’s online retailer who has been the first to set up pre-orders for the consoles in the country, the Xbox One products will be shipping to India in March 2014.
In competition to the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 will be selling at Rs 39,990, a significantly lower price tag. The PlayStation 4 has apparently already sold out of pre-orders and their shipping of the console will begin from January 6th. With price being the main point of contention for the next-gen console war, it seems that the Xbox One is just one small step behind the PlayStation 4.
