A group calling themselves DERP intermittently took down multiple online gaming sites and servers yesterday via a DDoS attack. League of Legends from Riot Games took the biggest hit with the NA/EU/OCE servers being down for most of the day along with LoL websites and forums. The group also targeted Battle.net, EA.com, Club Penguin, World of Tanks and Dota 2.

All servers are now back up, but no word has come from the affected developers and sites.
