Capcom Developers Have Teased Some New Games That Could Be Announced Next Year

In a recent interview on 4gamer.com, a few of Capcom’s developers started dropping hints about some new titles that could be coming in 2014.

Firstly, deep down’s Producer Kazunori Sugiura stated there are some more games that didn’t make it out this year, and instead will be announced in 2014. These games (according to Sugiura) will “surprise the readers a lot”. He went on to mention that Capcom intends to reaffirm its presence in the fighting genre but didn’t give any more details at what this means.

Next, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara’s Producer Kenji Kataoka mentioned that classic title from Capcom’s history will be brought back 2014. He couldn’t say what it was but he did say that we would hear more the closer it gets to summer.

Finally, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright’s Director Shu Takumi said that his new title will be announced next year while Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Dual Destinies‘ Director Takeshi Yamazaki also said that the team is now working on their next title. It is unclear if these are the same titles or two different games at this time.
