PC players for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag have gotten a new update that will show the game off at its best. Using Nvidia’s PhysX technology, plumes of smoke and shadows will give the games presentation a hefty bump up.
Of course, with the graphical bump comes new demands on your rig, so make sure you can run the game well without it before even attempting it with PhysX turned on.
Without going into too much technical detail, the update improves particle effects, making cannon fire and gunfire more realistic. Rainfall and shadows have also been touched up, making the high-seas a wondrous place to explore, if you computer can run it.
What do you think? Can your rig run Ubisoft’s pirate simulator with PhysX? Let us know in the comments.
