Microsoft had announced the new addition of both free and paid DLC to the Xbox One launch title, Ryse: Son of Rome.

A free update will become available as of the December 18 that will add two new level events to Gladiator mode. The first mode will create an enemy turret that will bombard you will arrows until destroyed. The second makes Reward Statues appear which can be activated for bonuses to player’s health or focus.

Alongside will come the Colosseum Pack, which will also be free to those with the Season Pass, otherwise it can be purchased for a small fee. The pack includes two new arenas, Henge and Ascension as well as two new skins.
