View the First Unofficial Steam Machine Unboxing

The first sets of Steam Boxes have been sent out to beta testers, with some of them posting the unboxing onto YouTube.

Steam Box beta tester and YouTube user Corey Nelson released this video of himself opening up the console prototype.

The system is taken out of a simple crate and includes the beta Steam Controllers, manuals, HDMI and USB cables, power cord, wi-fi antenna and recovery USB key.

Valve announced in September that prototypes would be sent out to 300 testers which were sent out last week. The shipments were sent adjacent to the release of the SteamOS that launched on Friday.

Steam Machines, SteamOS and the Steam Controller are expected to fully launch in 2014.
