Via its official Playstation.EU blog, Sony has confirmed this January’s PS+ games. despite being billed as the January update, the switch will occur on December 24th, just in time for Christmas.
Among the big titles are two AAA console games from not that long ago, the Ninja Theory-developed reboot of Devil May Cry and Gearbox’s Borderlands 2.
Sony’s latest console, the PlayStation 4, also gets a little bit of the PS+ cake. The acclaimed indie title Don’t Starve, from the creators of Mark of the Ninja, arrives on the PS4 store as a free download for PS+ subscribers. Don’t Starve will replace Contrast when it comes to the service. Resogun appears to be untouched.
Vita owners aren’t left out either, as the Japanese arcade fighter BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend comes to the Vita, as well as Sony’s own Soul Sacrifice. Sony provided an at-a-glance rundown of all the content that’s leaving and entering the Instant Game Collection in late December and January:
