It’s a Merry Christmas from Naughty Dog, developers of Uncharted and The Last of Us with the teasing of major plans in the works for next year.

“2014 marks a very special time in Naughty Dog’s history and we’ll have more information about what that means early next year,” Naughty Dog has said over their website.

The only new major project that Naughty Dog has revealed is a new Uncharted game for the PlayStation 4, but it appears that we may be hearing about more in 2014.

Naughty Dog has at least two internal development teams and it hasn’t yet been made clear what the developers of The Last of Us will move on to next.

Creative Director Neil Druckmann said in June that The Last of Us is “ripe for new stories” but later stated “If we never do a sequel, we’re OK with it, because we told the story we needed to tell.”
