The Elder Scrolls Online from ZeniMax Online Studios’ will be released April 4, 2014 for Windows PC and Mac, publisher Bethesda Softworks announced today.
The game went into beta in November and two rounds of invitations were sent out to players, with the promise of more to come.
Players of the MMO on console will have to wait a little longer for their release, which will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June 2014.
A new trailer was put out alongside the release day announcement. War in Cyrodiil is a gameplay based trailer, which can be watched below, featuring player vs. player battle sequences. Players are able to choose from three factions as they war for the Ruby Throne; the Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant or Ebonheart Pact.
The Elder Scrolls Online will cost $59.99 across all platforms and players will also need to pay an additional $14.99 monthly subscription after the first month.
