Law Firm are Investigating EA and Battlefield 4

Publisher Electronic Arts is under investigation by law firm Holzer Holzer and Fistel, LLC for possibly misleading investors and analysts regarding the quality of Battlefield 4, according to Business Wire.

Holzer Holzer and Fistel LLC have sent out a press release explaining that the investigation focuses on the state of Battlefield 4’s development and the problems it has encountered since release, claiming that EA have violated federal securities law.

The Atlanta based firm are specifically zoning in on statements made between July 24, 2013 and December 4, 2013 where EA made false statements about the game’s status.

Holzer Holzer and Fistel encourages those who purchased EA common stock between July 24 and December 4, or have suffered investment losses during this year to contact the firms attorney Marshall P. Dees regarding legal rights (if this applies to you please go to the firms contact details).

Since released Battlefield 4 has encountered numerous problems and many fixes and patches have needed to be released. Last week, EA announced that work would cease on future Battlefield 4 expansions, which created a drop in share prices, since then a clarifying statement has been made explaining that no pending game projects have been delayed and stocks rebounded. DICE have also released a Battlefield 4 issue tracker in which will prioritze the most common problems.
