Earlier in the week you may remember that we recently reported on the news that Peter Clatworthy, a 19 year old student from Nottingham, paid £450 for a picture of an Xbox One via eBay.
Despite Peter getting his refund from eBay, the UK based electronics retailer CeX have decided to give him a Xbox One for free.
Why they have done this is beyond us. Good PR? An apology for his grief? Either way, Clatworthy, after receiving the free console said ,“I’m just overwhelmed by the reaction to the story. All I wanted was a refund. I cannot believe this.”
What do you think of this news? Should he have got a free Xbox One? Or should he have not been rewarded for his mistake?
