Metal Gear Solid 5 Gets Xbox Exclusive DLC and a Solid Release Date

The new trailer reveals an exclusive mission available on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 named Jaimis Vu. The mission will allow you to play as Raiden, in contrast to the Déjà vu mission that will be exclusive to PlayStation that lets you play as Classic Snake.

In an interview with Xbox Wire, Hideo Kojima talked about his feeling on the next-gen consoles.

“I’m most looking forward to the “pseudo-cloud” era that the next generation of hardware will bring,” he said. “It’s still one step away from the “true” cloud revolution, but it will allow players to interact with their games, and each other in new and exciting ways using multiple devices such as tablets and smart devices. Social experiences and player interaction are what will drive the next wave of games.”

He also told his favourite Metal Gear character is probably Otacon, saying: “He’s a character who proudly identifies himself as an “Otaku” (Japanese for “geek”), but is still able to survive and hold his own in the midst of all these amazing heroic characters, despite the fact that he himself never engages in battle.”

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeros has a release date of March 18, 2014.
