Shenmue is a series has gone down in history as an absolute classic on the Sega Dreamcast console. However Shenmue II saw no English version of the title in terms of voice work. In Europe Shenmue II saw release on Dreamcast but featured the original Japanese voice work with English subtitles. The Xbox edition, which reached only North America did have a complete cast of voice actors for an English version. 

However, a fan project has managed to pull the audio from this Xbox edition of Shenmue II, downsamples it and put it in a bootable format for the Sega Dreamcast. This translation offers English voices and regional selections with either NTSC or PAL being available.
