Only yesterday, we ruminated on Survarium’s development and when the game will be coming out. Vostok must have heard our plea, as they have confirmed to Eurogamer the start of the international closed beta and release date window.

Beta invites will be rolling out “within a week or two“. You can still sign up for the beta through the official site, so if you are a fan of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, this is for you. Vostok have taken the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gameplay, and thrown it into a massively multiplayer FPS world.

The Ukrainian based studio is hoping to release the game during the second half of 2014, not too far off our guess of Q4, 2014. Hopefully this will give Vostok Games enough time to work out the worst of the bugs, but like all online game launches, things will get through.
