Sega has announced the release of Caesar in Gaul the first campaign expansion for Total War Rome II.
The expansion will allow players to choose from four factions, Gallic Arverni, Germanic Suebi, Belgic Nervii and Rome. It will include a brand new campaign map, new challenge mechanics and a multiplayer campaign all inspired by Caesar’s Commentaries on the Gallic War.
“We’ve always planned to focus more closely on some of the key conflicts of the ancient world, and Caesar’s war in Gaul is the ideal place to star,.” said the Total War series creative director Mike Simpson.
“We’ve also improved the game considerably since launch, and that process continues as we move onto substantial feature and gameplay improvements,” he continued.
Caesar in Gaul is set for release on December 12. Will you be playing? Let us know in the comments.
