Notch has serious gamer cred. Not only has he created Minecraft, one of the most popular indie titles ever created, but also for his die-hard support of other developers. A recent exchange between Markus ‘Notch’ Persson and Sony’s Adam Boyes has ended in such an instance.
It all began when Notch tweeted this:
I have fun project, a PS4 is waiting for me, it’s Formal Friday at Mojang, and it’s our glöggpremiär. It’s going to be the best day ever.

@amboyes I want to buy it myself legitimately! Games is too personal for me, I want to feel like “it’s mine”. 😀 But omg <3

It is nice to see Notch not take something just because it free. Supporting fellow developers is important, especially with how hard it is to make it as an indie now.
What do you think? Do you support Notch’s stance? Let us know in the comments.
