Lindsey Lohan Wants To Sue Rockstar Over GTAV Likeness

Rockstar are not new to the world of wild claims and accusations, but the days of Hot Coffee and Jack Thompson are thankfully long gone. The next legal problem it seems to be from Hollywood. A report by TMZ, claims that the actress wants to sue the Scottish developers for using her likeness without permission.

The article lists the reasons where Lohan believes Rockstar used her as inspiration:

  • The video game cover shows a woman holding a cellphone who looks Lindsay-ish. There’s been debate over whether it looks more like Kate Upton or Shelby Welinder.
  • Part of the game features a mission where a Lindsay Lohan look-alike asks the player to take her home and escape the paparazzi.
  • Another part of the game shows another Lindsay-like character at a hotel resembling the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood – a place Lindsay not only frequents but once lived at – and the mission is to photograph her having sex on camera.

Rockstar has yet to respond to these claims, but to use the link seems tenuous at best. Grand Theft Auto V does poke fun at multiple parts of the LA lifestyle, and American society as a whole, but very rarely points its venom at specific people. Not only that, but the reasons listed have a very loose connection to the former star.
