The crowdfunding total for space simulator Star Citizen has surpassed the $30,000,000 mark. Roberts Space Industries have a lot of stretch goals to work on while they continue development for the core game that isn’t due out until late next year.

$30,000,000 is a lot of money for one indie game, but this project is reaching for the stars and has obviously struck a note with gamers. This latest mark means an extra space ship will be added to the game, titled the “Origin 890 JUMP”. The next stretch goal lies at $31,000,000 and will unlock the RSI Orion mining platform.
