PS4+ Vita Bundle Spotted, December Release Confirmed

Sony is to release an “Ultimate Bundle” before the end of this year, which includes both the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita.

The bundle would allow users to make use of the inter-device features between the two systems. The PS4 can, in many cases, stream a game to the PS Vita using the Remote Play feature, allowing players to use the Vita as way of playing PS4 games, well, remotely. The Vita can also act as a second screen in some cases, and obviously is a handheld console in and of itself.

The above image lists a December 2013 release, which was spotted in the latest issue of MCVUK, and since MCV originally broke the story, this bundle and release window is all but confirmed.

What is not confirmed, however, is the price. A rumour dating back from GamesCom way back in August suggests that the price of the bundle could be $500.

More information on the price is expected to be revealed in the near future, so be sure to watch this space for further information. For those who want to get in on the PS4 action as soon as possible, the console launched in North America last week, and will launch in the UK next week, on November 29th for an RRP of £349.
