White Xbox One Raises $11,300 for Charity

The bidding ended last night with the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior project, set up to aid injured members of the U.S military. As well as the console it incuded the Kinect, a years Xbox Live subscription and copies of Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3, Crimson Dragon, Ryse: Son of Rome and Killer Instinct.

The limited consoles were given to a select few Microsoft employees who were involved in the consoles creation. The bidding started at just $1 and stayed stagnant at $11,200 for a few days until the winning bid was put up last night.

This is the second of the white consoles to be auctioned off for charity; one was sold earlier this November for GamesAid.

The Xbox One will be launched worldwide on Nov. 22nd
