Whilst on your PlayStation 4, friend requests and messages can crop up at random, sometimes with private contacts and precious information. Due to this Sony and Twitch have confirmed that, if you are streaming gameplay online, built-in security measures will blur the name of incoming requests and messages whilst you are broadcasting to the world. 

When you hit the PS button on your controller which displays information on your friends list, messages and other private data the screen will be covered by a blue sheet so that those watching your stream cannot catch a sneak glance and your messages.
