The Wii Mini will be appearing in U.S stores later this month, Nintendo of America announced.

The Wii Mini comes as a scaled-down version of Nintendo’s previous console and is currently only available in Canada and Europe where it launched last year.

The news comes just two weeks after Nintendo discontinued the production on the Wii in Japan. Currently the system will come as a bundle in a red and black design and includes the Wii Remoter Plus, Nunchuck attachment along with a copy of Mario Kart Wii.
