Gaijin Entertainment, the company behind the latest major free-to-play title War Thunder have, within 12 months gathered over 5 million players to their cause. The WWII era dogfights and brutal aerial combat has clearly caught on, with the game also receiving Gamescom’s Best Simulation Game Award only two months ago.
War Thunder includes hundreds of new planes for players to get to grips with and the title is only expanding, with it now being downloadable via Steam and now launching with the PS4 later this month. Anton Yudintsev, CEO of Gaijin Entertainment said:
βTo those who have served, and to those who continue to step up to answer the call of duty in War Thunder β we salute you! In your honor Gaijin Entertainment is organizing Golden Battles on November 3rd and 10th β this is a good chance for all players to improve their balance and get a unique decal to decorate their planes!β
