While by no means a rocky launch, DICE have had to acknowledge today that the release of Battlefield 4 on PC has not gone as smoothly as they had probably hoped.
PC players are experiencing hard-crashes, meaning the game freezes or it is locking their systems. DICE have created a thread of all the issues they are aware of, with other issues including lost multiplayer progress and corrupted single-player saves also being on the list.
DICE stated “We are working on a PC client patch at the moment and hope to release it soon,” and that “We will share the patch notes once we have the patch contents finalized. The main focus is to fix as many crashes as possible“.
