Typing of the Dead: Overkill is a new version of the Wii and PS3’s zombie shooter House of the Dead: Overkill, which sees players typing words as quickly as they can rather than using a light gun to shoot zombies. This is similar to how in 1999 Sega created Typing of the Dead based on House of the Dead 2 and is similar in gameplay as a result. 

With 3 difficulty levels and full Steam integration, the new title also includes a full version of the original House of the Dead: Overkill as seen on PS3 should players wish to use a mouse rather than keyboard. Two player co-op will also be seen in the game later down the line as a free downloadable update.

Typing of the Dead: Overkill is now available on Steam at the price of £7.49 / €8.99 / $9.99 until November 1st when it will be available at its usual price of £14.99 / €17.99 / $19.99.
