Elias Toufexis, the voice of Adam Jensen, was once set to play Far Cry 3 protagonist Jason Brody but was fired.

Speaking out at MCM Comic Con in London, Toufexis revealed that Ubisoft were afraid that the two characters voices were too similar. As both games were developed and published by Ubisoft, the company was afraid that after the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, gamers would be confused by the similarity of the characters voices.

By the point he was fired he had voiced the character for two years. He was replaced by Gianpaolo Venuta.
