Activision’s Blur is Reborn on Android

Activision originally launched Blur as developed by Bizarre Creations back in 2010 to much positive praise from reviewers, unfortunately this wasn’t reflected in the sales as the game was concidered a commercial flop. With Bizarre Creations being closed less than a year after Blur’s original release Activision have licensed the IP to Marmalade Technologies and have released the new version of Blur on Activision this week. It is important to note that this new game is not actually a port rather a new top-down racing game on the platform.

“Marmalade has been steadily growing its publishing activity over the past few years to bring well known and hit titles to multiple platforms and the widest range of players possible,” Marmalade Play boss Massimo Caporale said.

“Today we underline this by bringing these amazing Activision titles to market at the same time as creating our new publishing division. We look forward to Marmalade Play further strengthening its position as a leading publisher of top class, cross-platform content.”
