For those few left on the continent of Europe without a Wii, not would be the time to get one. This swiftly follows the news that the same has happened in Japan.
Talking to MCV, Nintendo have confirmed that Europe will no longer be getting any new stock of the record-breaking console. A UK representative for Nintendo stated:
“Wii imports to Europe have been discontinued…However, there are still a variety of options for consumers to enjoy Wii games and the Wii gameplay experience.”
The Wii has been available in Europe since December 2006, meaning if you didn’t want one for the last seven years you probably won’t want one now.
