Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea Gets A Release Date

2K games and Irrational Games have announced the release date for Episode 1 of the Burial At Sea DLC for Bioshock Infinite. The film-noir style story will available for players to download starting November 12.

The DLC – which casts Bioshock Infinite stars Booker and Elizabeth in a film-noir portrayal of the underwater city of Rapture – was developed by Irrational Games firmly under the direction of series visionary Ken Levine. Rapture returns from the original Bioshock, but this time players will get to see it before its fall from grace turns it into the wasted underworld of the first game. Levine is keen to stress that you won’t be walking around assets from 2007, as Rapture has been rebuilt from scratch.

Irrational are placing a greater emphasis on stealth this time around, and boasts weapons, new and old, and a new Plasmid for you to inject.

Episode 1 will be released Novmeber 12th for £9.99. If you have the season pass, then you’ll already have paid for it. Hopefully it’ll be enough to tide us over until the release of Episode 2, in which we’ll finally be able to play as Elizabeth.

What do you think? Are you excited to see Rapture again? Wondering if we’ll see any crazy parallel universes? Let us know in the comments below.
