Ken Levine, the man behind both the Bioshock series as well as System Shock 2 and Thief: The Dark Project, will be given the Lifetime Achievement Award at this years Golden Joysticks.

He is the first to receive this award and is arguably one of the most deserving people to get it. The 2013 Golden Joystick Awards will take place this Friday, 25 October in London’s Westminster Park Plaza.

Hopefully more individuals in the gaming industry will receive this prestigious award in the future.
