UK Retail Gives 2DS a Price Drop Less Than 2 Weeks After Launch

As Christmas approaches stores usually discount stock to help them sell better for the festive season, this should come as no surprise to anyone. This would obviously also apply to the recently released Nintendo 2DS, released just 10 days ago. What may surprise some however is the fact that the 2DS has been reduced in price already with multiple UK retailers including Amazon, Tesco and Sainsbury’s offering the handheld at the reduced price of £99. This is a £10 drop from the 2DS’ RRP of £109. With another UK retailer, Argos, planning on dropping their price tomorrow down to £99 temporarily, this is a quick turn around for a price drop on the new hardware.
