Square Enix and Psyonix have now sent out invites for the Closed Alpha of Nosgoth, their upcoming free-to-play multiplayer game set in the world of the 1999 classic Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. 

Square Enix have also released the above in-game screenshot in celebration. Set in the dark fantasy world of Nosgoth, which played host to such games as Soul Reaver and Blood Omen, the game casts players in a Humans-vs-Vampires war in asynchronous 3rd person shooter/melee combat. The game is team-based 3v3, and is set to launch as a free download sometime later this year or early next.

Square Enix still say they’re sending out invites, and those who want to sign up for one can do so a www.nosgoth.com.
