Earlier this week there were reports of Microsoft supposedly banning people for exploiting a bug that allowed people to continuously sell a vehicle and make millions of GTA$ per day.
The new patch that was released today has fixed this bug and stops players using the exploit.
The patch also fixed many other problems with the online, such as missing items, cars, apartments and characters with Rockstar saying the issues were “due to a cloud save failure.”
One other major change is that players can now only lose up to $500 instead of all of their money, when they are killed. This hopes to stop players being constantly gunned down and losing large amounts of money that they have been playing for therefore improving the in-game economy.
With all of the problems that GTA Online has faced since launch, Rockstar are giving $500,000 GTA$ to players by way of an apology, with the patch installed you can expect your first instalment of $250,000 early next week.
