Recently Wii U sales have seen a sudden re-resurgence with Septembers sales for the console being 200% higher month-over-month due to a recent price cut. In August Nintendo confirmed that they will be dropping the price of the Wii U Deluxe Set by $50 to match the sale price of the Basic Edition. Furthermore, Nintendo have now launched a limited edition Wii U bundle which included a downloadable copy of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD at $299.
Is this a sign that the Wii U sales will continue spiraling upwards? With Christmas just around the corner it is a distinct possibility. Do you think this a turning point for Wii U’s fortunes? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
