Konami has announced today that the mobile only Metal Gear Solid: Social Ops will be ending after launching less than one year ago in Japan.

The collectible card game was released December 16, but never received a western localization. It featured all of the Metal Gear staples and was free to play. It made money through DLC and had more than 100 million downloads.

The game will close for good December 13, only a few days more than an actual year. The game was revealed as part of the franchise’s 25th anniversary on Android and iOS.
