Two weeks ago, Valve revealed the Steam Controller, one in their trio of announcements that included the Steam OS operating system and Steam Machine PC consoles.
Valve released the video today showing how the touchpad-based controller works. In the clip the controller shows how it handles a variety of games with one of the controllers creators playing the first-person puzzler, Portal 2, turn-based strategy game Civilization V, first-person shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and the point and click adventure, Papers, Please.

The Steam Controller is fully configurable and event the trackpads can be adjusted independently.
