Sony has opened up pre-orders of the HMZ-T3W 3D viewer headset. The device was revealed earlier this year and costs $999 or £1,300 when it launches in the UK.
This is not a VR device and is not to be confused with the rumours of Sony attempting to emulate the Oculus Rift for the PS4.
The device is wireless, has two LED screens and can display a simulated 750-inch screen. It also boasts a 7.1 channel surround sound, supports movies in 3D and is compatible with PC, console, smartphone and tablet devices.
Develop reports that the HMZ-T3W is now available to order on Sony’s product site.
