Capcom Bringing Dustforce To Consoles In 2014 – Announcement Trailer

Dustforce was released on Steam in 2012, and has since garnered a cult-following of hardcore enthusiasts, for good reason. The game is an ultra-hard 2D platformer featuring the Dustforce, a troupe of fast moving acrobatic cleaners out to rid the world of dust and dirt – in style. The game was independently developed by Hitbox Team for the PC originally, and features wall-running ninja nonsense, momentum-based gameplay, unique combat mechanics and an unforgettable soundtrack.

While the original PC games’s multiplayer modes were strictly local, the console version will feature online multiplayer and new maps as free DLC post launch.

Published by Capcom, Dustforce will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita in January 2014, and is a great opportunity for those who prefer to do their gaming on console who missed out on the original release. What do you think?  Will you be downloading the game? Let us know in the comments below.
