Hopefully the Aveline content Ubisoft has created for Assassin’s Creed IV; Black Flag will be a lot more entertaining than the Benedict Arnold DLC. Oddly giving players a a four boring missions to reach a forgone conclusion isn’t very gripping. Time skipping to Aveline from Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation however, does sound fun. Not only is she in a completely separate time, taking place long after Edward Kenway’s time, but she plays differently than other assassins.
Given that Liberation was originally a PS Vita only game it makes sense that the Aveline content is also Playstation exclusive. The content will be available when the game launches, free for PS3 and PS4 owners.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is out on PS3, Xbox and Wii U October 29 in NA and November 1 in EU. It will be available for the next gen PS4 and Xbox One November 22.
